Governor Newsom proposed this groundbreaking plan in his budget, which would allocate $50 million to help California\u2019s homeless animals over the next five years. It would help under-resourced communities get the expertise, support, and assistance they need to end needless euthanasia and improve welfare.<\/p>\n<p>The SF SPCA was joined on the Sacramento steps by adoptable pets from local shelters and state legislators.<\/p>\n<p>You can help!
