Looking for love, laughter, and a whole lot of tail wags and purrs? This August, the San Francisco SPCA is teaming up with NBCUniversal Local and shelters across the country for <\/span>Clear the Shelters 2025,<\/span><\/a> a national pet adoption celebration that helps you find your perfect companion.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2015, nearly 1.2 million pets have found their people through this incredible campaign, and this year, your new best friend could be waiting right here in San Francisco.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Name your price all month long at the SF SPCA<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

From August 1 through 31<\/strong>, adoption fees for all cats and dogs five months and older are name your price at the SF SPCA. That means you get to choose how much to pay to adopt your new furry family member.<\/span><\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re dreaming of cozy couch cuddles or a sidekick for weekend adventures, there\u2019s a sweet, silly, lovable animal at our <\/span>adoption center<\/span><\/a> ready to bring joy into your life.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Every adopted animal goes home <\/span>spayed\/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped<\/span><\/b> so that you can start your new chapter together right away.<\/span><\/p>\n

One day only: free adoptions on August 23<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Mark your calendar! On <\/span>Saturday, August 23<\/span><\/b>, we\u2019re throwing a one-day celebration with FREE adoptions for <\/span>all available animals<\/span><\/a> at the SF SPCA\u2014cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies included.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to free adoptions for all animals, our event on August 23 will be full of fun for the whole family. Enjoy sweet treats from our volunteer bake sale, stop by the kid zone for face painting, games, and crafts, and snap a pic at our photo booth with your new furry friend.<\/span><\/p>\n

Estrellita\u2019s Food Stand will be serving delicious pupusas and tamales, and you can <\/span>meet our expert team<\/span><\/a> at the SF SPCA Behavior booth to learn more about how we support pets beyond adoption. Don\u2019t forget to enter our raffle for a chance to win SF SPCA gear, and every adopter will receive a 20% off coupon to <\/span>Pet Food Express<\/span><\/a>!<\/span><\/p>\n
